Christmas Roundup

Here are some of my favourite photographs from Christmas! I have many many photographs of Christmas day, but I will keep those to myself :)

001
I love watching Christmas films! It really does get you in the festive mood doesn't it?! I had a wonderful evening (although it was by myself) watching Elf with a huge glass of strawberry cider (yum yum!)
It's sad to think that Christmas is over....! But hopefully next year will be even bigger and better!

002
Although I haven't done as much baking as I wanted to, I did enjoy all the baking I have done. I made some extremely yummy gingerbread all by myself for the first time. And fair play, they turned out nicely!! I really like this photograph as I love how the little gingerbread man seems to be waving! So cute...!

003
We've had this tree since forever...It's so funny to think when we were little we thought it was absolutely massive! I think I will feel slightly sad when we pull the tree down... It's always such a nice and happy time when you put your Christmas tree up!

004
My boyfriend's sister's little kitty! She's cute....Although she has a habit of coming into his room and clawing his bed, which is ever so annoying!

005
More of my Christmas baking!
I'm rather excited about this weekend, as I have in fact a LOT planned for New Year's Eve. Well, when I say a lot planned, I mean, a lot of cooking involved! I'm super super excited! Our New Year's Eve will consist of a buffet which I am going to be hosting for my boyfriend's family and friends! I literally cannot wait! I have a lot of recipes in mind..... Cue a LOT of party recipes coming up!

006
After spending a lovely day at Betws Y Coed with the bf last week, I found the most perfect walking boots! I've never had a pair of walking boots before, so this was rather exciting for me, and as I want to become more active and get up and do more things in the new year, I just had to get them!
They are from The North Face and cost £40 (I got them off their website as I knew they had a 20% off sale on - Be sure to check it out, I think it's ongoing until the 31st!)
They're actually from the girl's section (their shoes go up to a size 6!)

007
I need to do some more photographing in the new year too....I miss it! I love days out with my Canon! I definitely want to do more things and visit new places!

008
In fact, Santa was kind in the form of my Daddy and brother! My brother had been very thoughtful in his gifts this year, and I received much more than I was expecting (I definitely need to start my Christmas shopping much earlier for next year!)
I did in fact receive melting snowmen from Lush (my brother always gets me a little gift box from Lush for Christmas!) Along with some hand made locally candles, nice perfume and The Hummingbird Bakery book (be prepared for lots of cakes in the new year too!)

Chilling out after Christmas <3
Waiting for the new year to arrive!
I cannot wait for Saturday night! Have you got anything nice planned??
I can't wait for my little buffet! And I can't wait to share with all of you the recipes I have! Here are some of the things I have planned:

savoury muffins
mini home made pizzas
mini vegetable pasties
cheese straws
and many more....!!

My outfit is also half sorted! I found the perfect heels the other day, now all I need is to turn my wardrobe inside out to find a dress to go with them (need to save pennies after spending sooooo much recently!)

I hope you've all had a really lovely Christmas, and an even better New Year!

  5. I was planning on making gingerbread but I found I had no ginger! Haha, I ended up making cinnamon cookies which were delicious though. Your buffet sounds lovely, I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to cook for once :) Looking forward to all the recipes! xx
