Festive Weekly Roundup #2

001 + 004 + 006
This week, I have been baking a bit since I had some extra time on my hands for a change! On my list were:
Gingerbread Men
Festive Fruit Cake
Mince Pies
I put some festive music on and got down to some serious baking!! It's amazing how my mood can instantly be lifted by doing so! My mince pie recipe is already up here on my blog (check out the post below) But over the next week, I will also be posting my fruit cake and gingerbread recipe!!

I went to get some holly with my dad the other day! It was a bit of a trek to get it + we managed to get caught in the heavy rain!! But it was all worth it! We came back home with two bags full of it, and now it looks all pretty in the house!

I absolutely love oil burners. I think definitely over the past few months my obsession has grown bigger and bigger! If you don't know what to get me for Christmas, get me an oil burner!!
This one I found at a local charity shop. At first, I didn't see it in the middle of all the bric a brac, but after some serious looking, I found it! Immediately, I thought it was absolutely perfect and so funny! It's hard to properly see it in the photograph, but it's a little frog burner. Half of the head can be placed on top of the burner dish which is so cute!
I'm currently loving using some lavender oil in my burners. It's absolutely great at night time just to unwind and chill out after a long day. It's also find it a great sleep soother too!
On my to do list next week is to make some rice bags filled with lavender. These are microwaveable cotton bags that heat up and soothe!

Have a look at my mince pie recipe below!

If you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I've been wanting to colour my hair either purple or pink for quite some time. Unfortunately, my hair hasn't reached that level of blondness I need for it to fully absorb the colour, so I decided to purchase these lovely clip in human hair streaks in lilac! I love how they look in! I'm intending on posting a full review up soon of these, so keep an eye out!
