Weekly Roundup : London Style

Natural History Museum
Wagamama dinner // Wine times // Amazing tea bus
Shrek The Musical
Gyozas (which I absolutely love) // The bf // Arrived at Euston
Amazing graffiti artists

If you haven't noticed, I've been away in London for the past few days with my boyfriend. We had a really lovely time away, but I'm in desperate need of catching up with some sleep! London has such a fast paced lifestyle, it seems like I need another week just to recover from it!
Despite the tiredness, it was all worth it!
We had a lovely time at the Natural History Museum on Wednesday afternoon to see the dinosaurs which we sadly missed last time we were down in London due to the section being closed... Thursday was spent shopping, followed by Shrek The Musical. We're both big fans of Shrek, but were left disappointed when they didn't sing any of the songs from the film until the very last one! However, we both really enjoyed it!
Friday was our last day in London, and so we spent the day sight seeing around London, followed by a very lovely meal out at Wagamama's, discovering a love for chicken gyozas...

I hope you've all had a very lovely weekend.
I'm off to bed to catch up on some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's

Wedding Outfit of the day

I'm quickly posting an outfit of the day which I wore on Saturday when both me and my boyfriend went to film a wedding.
The dress was a bargain purchase from eBay (originally from Topshop) which I absolutely fell in love with! I wore my Vivienne Westwood Melissa pumps which you obviously can't see in the photograph!

Now, I must dash...I'm about to catch a train to London with my boyfriend and will post all my photographs when I get back!

Have a lovely week!

Weekly Roundup

Me and my boyfriend yesterday // Essie bargains // Handmade notebooks
My new favourite book
Cute DIY bookmarks
Wedding time // Chocolate cake // Cath Kidston nails

My week looked a little bit like this...
It's been a hectic one, and very very tiring. Yesterday, me and my boyfriend were filming at a wedding. Although it was a very nice day, we returned home tired after a long day. I think all the lack of sleep from last week has definitely been catching up with me...
My working week is a very short one this week, consisting of two days before I go away on my little trip to London with my boyfriend. I'm so glad we can spend some time together for a change, instead of the typical weekend together then another week apart!
If you have any suggestions where we should go, what we should see, please let me know!
We haven't been incredibly organised with what we're going to do, and I'm a girl who likes to plan....!

Anyway, I'm going to leave this blog post short and sweet as I crawl into bed.
I hope you've all had a very lovely week and weekend.
(Oh, and I have a few blog posts lined up for this week while I'm away)

When Life Gives You Lemons...

There is no explanation for the post title other than the fact these past few days have been busy. You know those evenings you spend busy doing nothing, with a million and one things on your to-do list, very slowly being ticked off! Well, this week has been just like that. I think my mind is over crowded...
Apologies should be made to my boyfriend for being the isolated creature that I am...

What I did manage to do was these little notebooks! Since I'm trying to plan our trip to London and failing miserably at the moment, I decided to make some London inspired notebooks to make note of the things I want to see!
The foxy bookmarks have come in handy too... (they can be found here)

I definitely want to dedicate some more time to myself in the next few days. I got a couple of books out from the library (one of them being 'One Day', I know I'm a little late, but I do really love it. Although it makes me feel a little sad and happy all at the same time...) I'm also welcoming a very lovely weekend ahead. We're filming at a wedding...Weddings are always lovely! I'm praying for some nice weather.

I hope you're enjoying your week so far - two more days until the weekend!

Weekly Roundup

Photography props // Picking blackberries // Sunny Saturday
Tiny Toadflax
Cath Kidston nails which I'm definitely trying out soon // Blackberries // Teacup love

Another week has been and gone...This week has been a rather nice one, although extremely busy. I've been so busy in fact that I'm losing track on what I've done, when!
Yesterday, I spent a lovely day in the sunshine collecting blackberries with my boyfriend. If they're still in the freezer by the time I leave (everything gets eaten or used in this house....Which can leave me rather annoyed when it's something important or expensive) Anyway, I'm hoping to make some mini blackberry pies this week.
I'm assuming this next week will be a busy one also. Plus, we have a wedding to film next weekend. Then we're off to London for a well deserved break!

My to do list for this week
Paint false nails in a Cath Kidston style
Bake blackberry pies with our picked berries
Get some books out for my train journey
Schedule our London trip
Sleep a lot more than last week
Plan a wedding outfit and post wedding outfit ideas

I hope you've all had a very lovely weekend.
Have you got anything nice planned for the week ahead?

Photography Time : Janglerins

I can't believe how busy I've been this week...
On Thursday night, I did some photography work for Elin (Janglerins) And these are just some of the shots of what we got up to!

Next week, both me and my boyfriend are filming a wedding! We're both looking forward to another wedding. The ongoing dilemma is of course, what to wear! I'm hoping to get some outfit posts up here this week, I've been slacking a bit lately. I also want to get some late summer wedding outfit ideas up.

A week on Wednesday, we're both off to London for a couple of days. It's a much needed break for both of us I think. A few days away will do us the world of good! I've already booked for us both to go and see Shrek the musical (I was going to keep it a surprise, but I'm hopeless and end up revealing things!)
If you have any suggestions of places to go, please let us know! We're trying to plan a mini schedule for each day so we get to do the things we want. But at the moment, we're not sure what we want to see or where we want to go...

Anyway, I hope you all have a very lovely weekend. The sun is shining in north Wales, so I'm going out to make the most of it...

Weekly Roundup

Bargain jeans // My very inspiring dad // A cup full of sweeties
The big date has been set - my braces are off in six weeks
A gift from my brother // Tea time // Champion welly thrower

I've had a very nice week! I've been going swimming with my dad at least once a week to try and build up some confidence in water. I'm feeling slightly better, but I still have a lot to work on! It's really nice to be able to do something with my dad. We rarely have a chance to do much together.
On Wednesday, I got my brace tightened and in fact received very great news... My braces are coming off in six weeks time, and I literally cannot believe it!! I've had my fixed brace on since December, but had removable brace since May last year....I can't wait to see what they're like without the brace on. My appointment is in the morning for removing and getting some moulds made, followed by an afternoon appointment for fitting retainers for when I sleep!

My weekend was spent with my boyfriend. His mum organises a 'fun dog show' each year - and that is exactly how we spent our Saturday afternoon, minus a dog!
Despite not having a little doggy to join in, we had our own fun! My boyfriend became a champion welly thrower, and got awarded a very nice bottle of wine (which he has not yet opened!) And for being the supportive girlfriend, I got a very large cup of sweets!
In other news....Doctor Who has started and become the highlight of my week...
This week, I'm attempting to cram as many things as possible into one week. I have so many things I'd like to do, with so very little time!

I hope you've all had a very lovely week and weekend.
